Biography
Krishna Dronamraju is a geneticist and author of many books in genetics, medical genetics and history of science. He worked with Victor McKusick in medical genetics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and recently edited, with Clair Francomano, (eds) Victor McKusick and the History of Medical Genetics, published by Springer, New York, 2012. He was a member of the U.S. Presidential delegation led by President Bill Clinton to India to promote cooperation in science and technology in 2000. Dr. Dronamraju served on the Recombinant DNA Advisory Committee of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, and the National Advisory Committee of the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture
Research Interest
Dronamraju's research focused on the history of genetics and human/medical genetics.the mechanisms of Speciation in plants and plant-pollinator interaction, and also the pollinating behavior of butterflies is considered quite significant.His research papers on the visits of several species of Lepidoptera to different colored flowers of Lantana camara reported the discovery of a species-specific pattern of color preference behavior by pollinating insects.

Biography
Dr. Nadia Jessel is the Leader of the “Active Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering†team at INSERM French National Institute for Health and Medical Research. She joined the INSERM U595 in 2002 as a post-doc, and received the diploma to direct the research (HDR) in 2004. Dr. Jessel got the permanent position (CR1) in the INSERM 595 laboratory in 2004 and currently Research Director in the INSERM 977 and heads the team.
