Biography
Miao Xiaoling obtained her BS degree in Biology from East China Normal University in July 1984, and Ph.D. degree in Biology from Tsinghua University in January 2005. She worked as a visiting scientist in the University of Wales Swansea, U.K. during 1996-1997. She joined Shanghai Jiao Tong University in October 2005, and now is a professor of the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism and the School of Life Sciences & Biotechnology. Her research interests mainly focused on biofixation of carbaon dioxide and biofuels production with microalgae. She is on the editorial board of BioMed Research International and Scientific Reports.
